SlopeDrive Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

The short version: we never sell your data and we never use it for advertising. Your data is yours, and we use it only to run SlopeDrive for you.

This Privacy Policy explains how SlopeDrive(“we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the SlopeDriveweb application and related services (the “Service”).

SlopeDriveis business software. Our customers are trades and contracting companies (each, a “Customer”). Customers invite their employees and crew (“Users”) and store information about their own clients, jobs, and suppliers in the Service.

1. Our role

  • Information about Users (such as name, work email, and sign-in details): we decide how it is used, as described in this policy.
  • Information a Customer enters about its own clients and jobs (such as names, addresses, photos, estimates, and contracts): the Customer decides what is collected and why, and we process it on the Customer’s behalf. If you are a Customer’s client and have questions about your information, please contact that Customer.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, work email, phone number, role, and the organization you belong to.
  • Customer content. What Customers and Users enter or upload, such as contacts, job details, notes, photos, documents, estimates, contracts, signatures, schedules, and orders.
  • Information from connected services. We offer optional integrations with third-party services, such as accounting, email and calendar, and material suppliers. If a Customer connects one, we receive the information needed for that integration, as authorized by the Customer.
  • Usage and device information. How the Service is used, browser and device type, IP address and approximate location, and error and performance logs.
  • Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and secure your session. We do not use them for advertising.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To authenticate Users and enforce each Customer’s permissions
  • To carry out the features and connected services a Customer chooses to use
  • To generate documents, summaries, and notifications requested by Users
  • To monitor performance, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure
  • To communicate with you about the Service, including account, security, and support messages
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

Some features use AI models to produce text from a Customer’s own job data. We do not use Customer content to train AI models.

4. How we share information

We never sell your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade Customer content or personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share information only:

  • With the Customer whose workspace it belongs to, and its authorized Users.
  • With service providers that help us run the Service, such as providers of hosting, data storage, authentication, error monitoring, mapping, and AI models. They may use the information only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • With connected servicesa Customer chooses to enable, only as needed for that connection. Those services’ own privacy policies apply to their handling of the data.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SlopeDrive, our Customers, or others.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case we will notify affected Customers.

5. Connected services

Integrations are optional. Customers choose whether to connect them, and an administrator can disconnect any of them at any time in the Service’s settings or from within the third-party account. When a service is disconnected, we stop accessing it and delete the stored connection credentials. Information already brought into the Customer’s records stays there until the Customer deletes it or asks us to (see Section 7).

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including encryption and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected Customers of a breach as required by law.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as a Customer’s account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Executed contracts are kept for seven years, then deleted. When an account is closed, or on written request, we delete or de-identify Customer content within 90 days, except where we must keep it by law. Backups are removed on their normal schedule.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email privacy@slopedrive.com. If your information was entered by a Customer, we may direct your request to that Customer. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Where information is stored

Our infrastructure is located in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify Customer administrators before they take effect.
